Challenge #148 Pink colour challenge.

Gini here
This fortnight I thought we could run away from Christmas and immerse ourselves in PINK, yes make anything so long as it is PINK.
You can use black, white and kraft as neutrals. Seeing as just one colour is very restricting you can add one other colour as a highlight if you feel like it.

Also as it is a new year how about trying something new? Pink in a new technique???
I haven't explored photo editing apart from very general exposure improvements on my photos. I tried Photoshop Elements about 10 years ago but couldn't do it (boo-hoo).
But since Santa brought me an ipad, I have a finger and I know how to use it!
So with the help of Phototoaster and Mobilemonet apps I can easily make some adjustments. Hooray!

This is an edited version of a boring photo I took of what is left of Bower’s Yard Lime Kiln, Ironbridge, Telford, England that made quick lime. It was a very grey overcast winter's day when I took it so it was dull, dull, dull colourwise but I thought it had potential if it was altered.
This is the photo Pinkified and paintified and fiddledified.
Click on the photo to make it bigger.

And this is the original photo.

I am enchanted by the whole process, (which these programmes make so easy, I don't do hard that takes weeks to learn). I was creating wonders within 5 minutes of downloading the apps.
Hope you feel inspired to try something new.

Let's see what the other wonderful poobahs have been creating.

Deena here - I love working with pink..it is one of my favorites and a go to colour for me (good thing I have two little girls, so pink is acceptable in most crafting projects)...I am trying this year (again) to use up many of my older supplies and kits that I have...my goal is to finish up one whole kit before moving on to other projects, so all of the pieces of this card are from a kit I got back in October (that is almost done)....

Rosemary  and oh how I love PINK; what a wonderful, versatile color!  Fun challenge but you're going to think that I didn't use pink because of my horrible camera photos.  SIGH...I really did.  I made a tea bag dispenser for a friend of mine, I think she likes pink.  Oh, who doesn't like pink?  I know, right?

What a fun way to take the humble tea bag to another level eh?

This first photo is the truer color...

Okay, here it is a deep hot pink with patterned papers and embellishments that either have hot pink in them or enhance the pink!  More details over at my personal blog (just click my name)

Jana here and I have embraced the pink. You would think that with 3 daughters I would have pink all around me. Not so. My girls are very non-traditional when it comes to colors. The oldest loves blue, the middle one loves all colors and the baby loves yellow. So finding a pink project that would fit in around here was a bit of a challenge. Then I looked at the refrigerator, and decided we needed another magnet.
(Because you can never have too many of those. HA!)

You can visit my blog to see him at home on the refrigerator. If you can find him.

Electra
I didn't create anything near as fancy as the other Poobahs.
But I do think Marie's hair qualifies for this challenge:

Your turn to get all PINK with us.

You have until the end of Saturday 26 January to join in with your fabulous creation of a pink project. Add your blog post address to Mr Linky below.
If you would like to join in with a previous challenge we've set (life happens and lateness is absolutely fine, we don't mind a bit) just add your blog post address to Mr Linky below. Please make sure your blog post refers to the previous challenge you are entering so we don't get confused.
We look forward to visiting you!

Great Projects! Jana, are those Mill Hill Beads on your Flamingo magnet? I have a bunch of them that are begging to be used! (Incidentally, I bought them on vacation in a little stitchery shop in Virginia Beach!) Thanks for the inspiration! :)
