Challenge # 45 - It IS easy being Green.

This week we want to make you green with envy. No, just kidding. We want you to think green. Whatever medium you choose, make it GREEN. You can go literal and use the color green or go green as in saving the environment by up-cycling something. You decide.

**********
Rosemary here - I went with the literal interpretation of this challenge by predominantly using green on each of these cards. Interestingly, I was also conscientious and used up a lot of my scrap papers and supplies for them as well - so I multi-tasked! yay me

More details regarding the products used are over at my blog. I'm trying not to get as wordy as I normally do (lol).

My first card is for Springtime, glorious springtime when all the lovely delicate greens start emerging from their Winter naps. Oh, how I am going to enjoy Spring this year - it's been a long, cold and snowy season here.

Being of Irish ancestry, I had to give a shout out for the Emerald Isle and thus I present Sprinkles in his finest greenery guarding his pot of gold.
Jana here: I am showing off a belt I made for my daughter out of Tootsie Roll wrappers. I made it before the challenge, but am showing it here anyway. I have more details about it on my blog if you are interested. I used found D-rings and candy wrappers, with a bit of packing tape.

(Rosemary adding her .02 here - lol - this is adorable - so mod and cool)

I also made a couple of GREEN Saint Patrick's Day cards. I just couldn't help myself. I threw in a little white because I wanted to. The paper and inks are Stamping UP. The hearts are a Stamping UP stamp. I really like the design on this and thought it would look almost Celtic. Same with the background paper. The sentiments are Studio G, as are the shamrocks on the second card. (oh my goodness, says Rosemary, these are so elegant)

Show us your GREEN.
